As Expressed
unbound photobook in two sections / 2021
The images, and their covering, articulate, explore and quieten the often-difficult thoughts and emotions I experience.
It is a constant, internal stream, with no structure or reasoning, just fluctuations of intensity and control.
I carry this always.
This is my baggage.
This is how I feel, and this is how I survive.
Recurrent
adj. Occurring often or repeatedly.
adj. Denoting or relating to medical conditions that are simultaneously present in a patient.
CoMorbid
Demo
Note: The sequence shown in the video is random and arbitrary; it is for demonstration purposes only. Unbound, the images can be rearranged, placed, or omitted completely. It is up to the viewer to decide how they wish to view them. The only distinction is in the grouping; Recurrent, which is the focus of exploration and expression, and Comorbid, which contains the experiments. There is potential for these to be mixed up, or become one group, but for the time being there is a clear separation.
The text included comes from a Psychiatric Outpatient Clinical Report, Dated 2018.
An "unbound book" of Polaroids with text. The covers are sublimination prints on "Silk Impression", a polyester based fabric.
